Our Spring 2024 Korean Language and Culture Program provided students with a foundation in basic Korean language skills, including reading, writing, and learning the Korean alphabet (Hangul), consonants, and vowels.

Students also experienced Korean culture through a variety of hands-on activities and community events. Highlights included participation in the International Spring Festival, a Korean Children’s Song Contest, Parents’ Day card-making activities, and local community cultural events and festivals.

Through classroom learning and community participation, students had opportunities to practice Korean while developing a deeper appreciation for Korean language, culture, and traditions.

2024년 봄학기 한국어·한국문화 프로그램에서는 기초 한국어 읽기와 쓰기, 그리고 한글의 자음과 모음을 중심으로 학생들이 한국어의 기본기를 익힐 수 있도록 수업을 진행하였습니다.
교실 수업뿐만 아니라 다양한 문화 체험과 지역사회 행사에도 참여하였습니다. 인터내셔널 봄 축제(International Spring Festival), 한국 동요 부르기 대회, 어버이날 카드 만들기 등의 활동을 진행하였으며, 여러 지역사회 문화 행사와 축제에 참여하여 한국문화를 직접 경험하고 알리는 기회를 가졌습니다.
학생들은 이러한 수업과 다양한 문화 활동을 통해 한국어를 자연스럽게 배우고 활용하면서 한국의 언어와 문화, 전통에 대한 이해와 관심을 넓혀 나갔습니다.
